Marching Guitar Band

As Parade season nears in our area, Hix Bros Music is once again taking sign-ups for our Marching Guitar Band. If you don’t know what this is, basically we have about 50 kids and parents march in the Parade playing guitars and carrying battery powered amplifiers. It was a great success last year, and we would really like to hear anyone’s opinion on this. Did you like it? Did you hate it? Lets talk about it…..

the first guitar i owned was a national glenwood. over the years i played or bought and owned just about everything ever made. then i found the parker fly and fell in love again. now i play flaxwood guitars from finland, what do they know? apparently alot about new guitar technology because they stay in tune and absolutely slot well when recorded. kind of like a telly on steroids or any other guitar you can beat to death.

Tanglewood Acoustic Guitars…

Has anyone played any of the new Tanglewood guitars from the UK? We just started selling them and I must admit that they are fabulous guitars. All solid wood construction, top, back and sides. They kinda feel and sound like a Taylor, but for half the money…. Check them out!
